Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. She is the oldest child in a family of four. The parents of Audrey Tautou who was both dentists and a teacher, recognized and encouraged their daughter's love for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. Their support was enough to overcome her original desire to become primatologist. There was an immediate rise for her to become a well-known young actress. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning her acting career in earnest. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, was a churchgoer in her youth and was raised Catholic. However she has now distanced herself with this background. As well as her acting profession, she pursued a modelling career. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. Photographing is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work in the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities in addition to fame. Also, it features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a particular focus on the media that has scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric rise in stardom after Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and fame with her starring performance in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a worldwide box office hit, receiving accolades at awards galas around all over the world. The film is still the most successful French language movie in the US. The film's success led to a huge increase in production. Tautou went on to star in a variety of films, which included British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. She also starred alongside Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
