Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is a renowned American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known as the detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama Providence. Also, she was praised for her dramatic television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap show Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films includes 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) has been reported to be in production. In addition, she's making a film for an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
